DUBAI, 24th March, 2019 (WAM) — As part of his regular inspection tours to different customs centres and departments, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs visited Al Maktoum International Airport, to confirm the level of services for the Expo 2020 Dubai and beyond. Once completed, Al Maktoum International Airport will be the world’s largest global gateway with capacity for more than 160 million passengers per year. It will also serve as a multi-modal logistics hub for 12 million tonnes of freight. In 2019, over 3,000 flights carrying 440,000 passengers came through the airport, and some 438,000 suitcases were checked. […]
