UAE scientists are planning to design drones which would be lighter, stronger and weather-resistant. The drones would be able to deal with skyscraper fires and even with fog. Researchers at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi have realized that a “sandwich-style” structure for drones would be able to decrease their weight without undermining on strength, allowing them to dive in during emergency situations more effectively.
