ADEN: Yemeni Prime Minister Maeen Abdul Malik praised the Arab coalition countries, led by Saudi Arabia, for their help and support in efforts to stabilize his country’s currency and provide food and other basic goods.

He said that the measures so far taken by the government and central banks have helped to strengthen the value of the Yemeni riyal, the Saudi Press Agency reported. He added that such measures are helping to improve the economic situation and boost living standards.

Earlier, coalition spokesman Turki Al-Maliki said that Saudi Arabia has provided more than $13 billion in support to Yemen since 2014.
