Ahed Tamimi addresses pro-Palestine rally in London

Tamimi can be seen next to her father at the rally, while demonstrators marched through central London carrying Palestinian flags and placards. "I don't wish to speak today about our suffering and Israeli colonialism. I don't want for our story to be written as one as victimhood, and I refuse to be defined by it. We choose to struggle for freedom and justice, we choose to be freedom fighters, injustice anywhere, injustice everywhere. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," Tamimi said to the cheers of those in attendance. Tamimi became the face of Palestinian resistance after slapping an Israeli soldier and spending eight months in prison.
