The UAE government would be awarding Emirati citizenship to thousands of children. Over 3000 children, who are the sons and daughters of Emirati women married to foreign fathers, would be granted with the UAE citizenship. Previously, those children were not entitled Emirati citizenship as the children usually take the nationality of their father.
