RIYADH: The governments of Saudi Arabia and Senegal, represented by Abdelhadi bin Ahmed Al-Mansouri, head of the Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation and Alioune Sarr, Senegalese minister of tourism and air transport, have signed an agreement to boost cooperation in air transportation services.
The signing took place as Al-Mansouri received Sarr in Jeddah, where they discussed issues of common interest and means of boosting cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement has many regulatory provisions guaranteeing, among other things, air safety and aviation security.
This reflects the efforts exerted by the Saudi government to improve and develop the Kingdom’s air transportation sector, and its commitments to providing facilities to pilgrims visiting the country.
