MAKKAH: Makkah Gov. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal has praised the General Syndicate of Cars (GSC) for its participation in a forum dedicated to the service of pilgrims.
The GSC is taking part in the Hajj and Umrah Forum as a strategic partner, along with nine transport companies and institutions, and at the opening of the event the prince thanked syndicate president, Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, for its sponsorship.
The forum offers an opportunity for organizations providing services for pilgrims to promote their products.
Prince Khalid, who is adviser to King Salman, also welcomed the region’s head of the Public Prosecution, Ahmad Al-Wardi, in the holy capital’s office.
The prince was briefed on the work of the Public Prosecution during this year’s Hajj season and future plans including the expansion of branches and specialties across the region.
Al-Wardi congratulated Prince Khalid on the success of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, for the resources provided by the Saudi government, and on his continuous follow-up of the works and services offered to pilgrims.
