Organization of Islamic Cooperation chief condemns terrorist attacks in Kabul

JEDDAH: The secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousuf Al-Othaimeen, condemned the escalation of terrorist attacks and violence in Afghanistan, including the latest attack in Kabul on Thursday, which killed at least 11 people and injured dozens. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan. He reiterated the OIC’s principled position against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, stressing the urgent need to end the violence and urged all Afghan parties to show commitment to the peace process.
