Dr. Noura Mansouri is a lead co-chair of the climate change and environment section at the civic and social organization Think 20 Saudi Arabia (T20).
Mansouri received her bachelor’s degree in management information systems in 2003 from Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, and a year later she obtained her master’s degree in technology exploitation and management from Queen Mary University of London, UK.
In 2008, Mansouri recieved a diploma in diplomacy and international relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, the graduate school of international affairs at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Between 2005 and 2013 she worked on earning her doctorate, focusing on economics, the environment, technological innovation and clean energy.
Mansouri started her career in 2004 as a research assistant in the Center of Global Energy Studies in the UK.
In 2012 she co-founded a nonprofit initiative, the CellA+ Network, with Al-Nahda Philanthropy Association. It was launched in Riyadh and later expanded the network’s reach into Jeddah. The network gathers professional Saudi women aiming to empower each other through a wide range of services.
Besides being a lead co-chair at T20, Mansouri has been a senior research associate at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center since 2016, and an expert observer at the World Energy Council.
