NOUAKCHOTT: A volunteer surgical team from Saudi Arabia has completed a life-saving medical mission to Mauritania.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) campaign in the northwest African country saw the team carry out 27 open-heart operations and 39 catheterizations on children, all of which were successful.
The project was run in partnership with the Muslim World League’s International Organization for Relief, Welfare and Development (IORWD).
