Guinea’s president leaves Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: Guinea’s President Alpha Conde, who arrived in Riyadh on Tuesday, left Jeddah on Friday after his four-day official tour.
At King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Conde was seen off by Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed and a number of officials.
During his stay, Conde held talks with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh.
In separate meetings, they reviewed areas of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Guinea, and ways to develop and strengthen them.
During his stay in Riyadh, Conde met Dr. Bandar Hajjar, president of the Islamic Development Bank, and Dr. Khalid Al-Khudairy, vice president and managing director of the Saudi Fund for Development. They discussed issues of common interest.
Conde also visited the headquarters of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) in Riyadh.
The president met Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, supervisor general of KSRelief, and discussed issues pertaining to a mechanism for delivering assistance to the needy in Guinea.
Conde thanked King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and KSRelief for providing aid to his country.
Later, the president arrived in Jeddah and met a number of Saudi officials. He also performed Umrah.
