Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk launches disinfection drive to combat virus

TABUK: Slaughterhouses in the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia have been disinfected as part of a cleaning operation to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
The secretariat and its municipalities in all the cities, governorates and centers of the region have also been carrying out inspections to ensure preventive measures introduced by the Kingdom’s health authorities were being complied with.
In addition, officials have suspended a number of commercial activities and events in a bid to stop large public gatherings and urged the people of Tabuk to follow guidelines on hygiene designed to combat the deadly virus.
