ABHA: Asir Gov. Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz, supervisor of Asir’s regional COVID-19 management department, recently launched a health awareness project to fight the outbreak.
The project aims to achieve the strategic goal of raising awareness and supporting preventive and curative health services.
It also helps campaigns including the restraint plan adopted in Asir, as well as programs for the public health awareness plan.
These are implemented by a dedicated team to ensure that the groups most affected by COVID-19 are communicated with and educated on health procedures.
The project also promotes the work of health volunteers in the restraint plan and seeks to promote the Ministry of Health media plan to raise awareness of non-drug precautionary measures.
