Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdulaziz Al-Hayzan has been a Shoura Council member since 2016 and is the head of the culture, media, tourism and archaeology committee at the same council.
Due to his extensive experience in both academic and professional fields of communication, Al-Hayzan is synonymous with media in Saudi Arabia.
He was a professor at the media departments of the two major universities of Riyadh and was the initiator for establishing the digital media department at Saudi Electronic University.
