JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has issued an official invitation to Tunisian President Kais Saied to visit the Kingdom.
The invitation came during a meeting between Saied and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Thursday at Carthage Palace in Tunisia.
The visit will focus on strengthening ties between the two countries and coordinating areas of common interest, the Saudi foreign minister said.
The Kingdom is committed to boosting cooperation to ensure progress and stability in Tunisia, he added.
The Saudi foreign minister was accompanied by Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Qattan. The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, along with developments in regional and international issues.
