RIYADH: As part of the activities marking International White Cane Safety Day, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has launched the blind paramedic manual in braille. The manual was introduced during the training course organized by SRCA to train visually impaired individuals on first aid.
SRCA President Jalal Al-Owaisi stressed that the program aimed to raise awareness among this group in Saudi society about the basic principles of first aid and ways to deal with various situations.
“The program is one of the many community and training programs organized by SRCA targeting all groups and segments of society,” he said.
