RIYADH: The chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced on Tuesday the areas where Riyadh Season will be extended after its planned conclusion.
He said in a statement: “The season will end in mid-December as scheduled, but it will only be extended in some areas that are attracting more people increasingly. The areas are the following: Winter Wonderland, Al-Muraba’a, Riyadh Safari and Riyadh Sahara, where the season will be extended until Jan. 18, 2020, whereas it will be extended until the end of March 2020 in Riyadh Boulevard.”
The ambitious 2019 Saudi Seasons initiative, the first of its kind in the region, was launched in February and includes 11 local seasons covering most parts of the Kingdom.
